Speaker Profile

Rebecca Lorenz, Megastar Financial

I'll never forget my first job in the mortgage industry, it was serendipitous! It was 1999, I had recently graduated from Utah State University and moved to Santa Rosa, CA and desperate to find my first job. I scanned the newspaper for jobs and decided on two to apply for; Red Lobster and a local Mortgage Company. Life is about the choices we make! I never knew this would be the start of career in the Mortgage Industry that would fuel my passion for serving others! I love this industry and I love those that walk alongside me every day to uphold the greatest American Dream...Homeownership!

I have worked for three companies during my career and have nothing but love and respect for each of them. They each touched my life personally and professionally in ways I can never fully express my gratitude for. During my 24-year career in the Mortgage Industry I have had the opportunity to speak with, share, train and teach thousands of originators.

My husband and I met at work in 2002 and we were married in 2005. We quickly decided to work together as an origination team and enjoyed growing our family and our production for years. As a Top Producing Team, I was constantly looking for the magic recipe for success. I yearned for balance in life, seeking a way to stay a Top Producer while showing up as the best version of myself each day. I quickly learned it wasn’t something I could buy, but something I could create! I have poured my heart into helping originators and leaders see that you can have it all, a great life and incredible production!

I was born in Lincoln, NE while my dad was attending Dental School. We moved around a bit with the military until we landed in Louisville, Colorado when I was in the 2nd grade. Colorado will always be home to me. There is something magical about sitting on my back deck and looking at the mountains along the Front Range. The pride of my life are my three children; Chantelle (23), Aiden (15) and Drake (13).
