CMLA News Highlight of the Week!
|
The legislative session begins today!
CMLA is the voice of the mortgage industry
in the state of Colorado.
CMLA manages two Political Action Committees (PACs). Campaign contributions are made in a bipartisan manner (to both Democratic and Republican candidates) with a particular emphasis on those in leadership roles. Campaign contributions are distributed to each candidate in a manner that gives us the opportunity to discuss the issues we feel are most important to the mortgage industry.

CMLA is YOUR Legislative Advocate in the Mortgage Industry
|
The Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee (LARAC) meets monthly to review proposed legislation and regulatory developments. We routinely comment on legislative and regulatory proposals to state and federal agencies, are active members of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and we attend the MBA’s National Policy Conference to engage with the Colorado Delegation in Washington, D.C.
