CMLA Operational & Compliance Forum featured in Mortgage Compliance Magazine!

Mortgage Compliance Magazine Spotlight:

For the past five years, the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (“CMLA”) has offered Forum sessions for members to come together on a monthly basis to identify best practices, collaborate with peers on key industry issues, enhance knowledge, and glean feedback and advice from industry peers. Members of the CMLA may join as long as they meet peer requirements for the particular Forum, participate fully and regularly, and pay a Forum membership fee. A Code of Ethics is signed by each member defining expectations for competitive conduct, confidentiality and professionalism.

One of the most successful Forums offered is the CMLA Operational and Compliance Forum. Thirty strong in membership, this group is comprised of managers representing various operational, compliance and quality assurance functions within their lending organizations. The group has elected to include representatives from all of these areas to lend a more global aspect to the discussions. Two hour sessions are held monthly, with each session hosted by a different member.
