Why are you involved with CMLA?

I love what the CMLA stands for and their mission to educate, represent, and ultimately advance the mortgage lending space.  We're privileged to have an association that speaks out for our industry and helps to bring us all together.

How does CMLA add value to your company?

The CMLA allows CCMC to have a voice in molding the Colorado mortgage lending industry.  Their conferences provide the perfect networking opportunity for many of us to discuss issues, find solutions, and plan for a brighter future.

The Colorado Board of Mortgage Loan Originators adopted updated rules for mortgage loan originators and mortgage companies based on recommendations from an advisory board. CMLA was invited to join the advisory board and played an instrumental role in the rulemaking process. The 1-hour Colorado-specific CE Course requirement will be repealed when the rules go into effect in January.
