Betty Knecht
New CMLA Executive Director

Betty Knecht is the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association new Executive Director. She brings with her a career in Association Management spanning more than 2 decades. Prior to joining CMLA, she spent the last 15 years as the Vice President of Events & Education with the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, where she worked closely with the Association members, providing both networking and educational opportunities. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for Family Homestead which is an organization that provides transitional housing for homeless families in the Denver Metro area.

In 2012, Mrs. Knecht earned the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Findlay in Ohio. She resides in Centennial, Colorado with her husband and 2 teenage boys.
