Kobie Pruitt is the Associate Director of State Government Affairs at the Mortgage Bankers Association. He assists in leading MBA's advocacy efforts at the state and local level. Prior to joining MBA, Kobie was the Director of Policy at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors where he acted as the policy lead for the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). Kobie was also a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Kaptur (OH-09) with a portfolio that included the Committee on Appropriations Transportation and Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee.

Kobie earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Maryland, Francis Carey School of Law and his Bachelors of Science (BS) in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz School of Business.
