Clinton Taylor is the Chief Operating Officer and founder of Ascend Appraisal Solutions Group, LLC. He leads this local Colorado based appraisal management company with a focus on developing strong client and appraiser relationships, knowing the industry is positively impacted when there is sturdy bridge that connects the two parties. He also manages the company’s ongoing expansion and growth efforts into emerging markets. Getting his start in San Diego in 2005 as a loss mitigation specialist allowed him to get his feet wet with borrowers, lenders, banks, and appraisers. Growth and exposure to different fields of business throughout his early professional career has added competencies of client relationship development, vendor management, workforce optimization management, and culture enrichment. His professional mantra is that when you and others around you are doing something that they are passionate about, work becomes intellectual fuel that feeds the fires of innovation.

Having worn a few hats in operations and sales on the lending side allows me to truly grasp the process from start to finish. Much like the LO’s goal is to take the stress of the loan process off the borrower, my goal as the operations manager for Ascend is to take the appraisal stress off the lender. We are a very high touch AMC keeping you in the loop the entire time so that this information can be relayed to all parties involved. This also includes making sure information is passed along or questions are answered “after hours” – because we all know real estate tends to not be a 9-5 job.

He is certified general appraiser and has nearly 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial appraisal field. Along with memberships in several nationwide multiple listing services, the Appraisal Institute, and local chambers of commerce, Jeff maintains a close proximity to the overall pulse of the real estate market. His knowledge of the mortgage industry and compliance guidelines allows him to keep compliance at the forefront of the Ascend Appraisal Solutions Group’s agenda as well as reach across the aisles and communicate with both appraisers and lenders throughout the appraisal process. Jeff graduated from the University of Iowa and now lives in Texas with his wife Juli and three terrific sons Tyler, Carter, and Brady. Jeff enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and grilling in his outdoor kitchen.
